About this project
What this is — Independent measurement infrastructure for AI usage limits. Throttle exists because no provider currently exposes quota telemetry natively, and because the visible constraint (rate limits, weekly windows, plan ceilings) is now load-bearing infrastructure for professional AI work.
How it's built — A Chrome extension with a local-first architecture, optional cloud sync via the tokenmaxx backend, and an open-source codebase. The dashboard you can sign into is the same backend that absorbs paired snapshots; nothing more.
Where this is going — Throttle is the first instrument published under tokenmaxx.me. The site is structured as a house for tools, datasets, and field research on intensive AI usage. Future instruments will follow the same architecture: local-first where it matters, measurable where it compounds, documented as public infrastructure rather than as product launches.
Who maintains it — Maintained by Lucio Amorim, an operator working at the intersection of enterprise AI adoption and the builder ecosystem. For enterprise enablement work: nxlv.ai. Public profiles: LinkedIn, GitHub.
